Sole X Lab Art was nothing short of excellence. The Collaboration between Sole Bicycles and Street artists proved to be a brilliant pairing, and we had a blast with everyone that came out. The artists did a great job giving each bike their unique touch. Below is a few photos from the event. The bikes will be on display for a few more weeks at LAB ART gallery, 217 South La Brea Avenue. Street art and Fixed Gear bicycles Collide! On September 15th, 2011 LAB ART Los Angeles, the nation’s largest gallery dedicated to street art, teams up with Sole Bicycles, the one-stop-online-shop for contemporary fixed-gear bikes, to create the Fixed Bicycles & Canvas show. The show will premiere custom Sole Bicycles designed by some of the biggest, most influential street artists including: AJL, Chad Muska, Common Cents, Cyrcle, Desire Obtain Cherish, GoodBoy, Gregory Siff, KH No. 7, LOUIS XXX, Mar, Septerhed, and Thank You X.

The exhibition will debut at a private viewing party on September 15 at LAB ART, and will be open to the public on September 16th and continue through October 16th, 2011

As far as LAB ART here is a little more information:

LAB ART Los Angeles is the largest art gallery in the nation dedicated to an alternative exhibition of street art and installation. Spanning 6,500 square feet of space, the gallery features approximately 300 works of art and installation from over 50 of the most prominent up-and-coming street artists of the LA Street Art scene and beyond. LAB ART has been featured on FOX News, KTLA News, Huffington Post, LA Times, LAist, and more.

Dude, we know. We are lousy bloggers. We don’t blog as much as we should. There’s really no excuse, especially since things in the land of Solé Bicycle Co have been super busy. It’s not like we haven’t had anything to say; it’s just that we haven’t had time to say it HERE… Sowry. By the way, we raised 620 dollars the other day for The Fallen Heroes Fund. Hello Riders and Summiteers!~

We have had quite a past few months at Solé. We just returned from Amsterdam, the bike capital of the world and before that, The Summit Series: Summit at Sea. Check out this video to see last years conference. We heard from leaders like Sir Richard Branson and Blake Mycoskie of TOMs, did yoga wuth Russel Simmons, captured and tagged endangered sharks, and met with some of our nations youngest leaders.
